Small town living, it ain't that bad.
But there's something more I wish I had.
Out there calling endlessly to me.
The mighty ocean, the wondrous sea.

If I had a boat, I'd set sail now,
though funny enough I don't know how.
But I'd figure it out and then I'd be free,
to explore the world and shout yippee!

A pirate I'll be and a captain too,
taking care of me and my little crew.
Braving storms and creatures from the deep,
I doubt I'll get a wink of sleep.

That's fine with me, it's part of the job!
And I won't be a pirate that likes to rob.
No, I'll be the one spreading kindness and joy,
When I see a fellow sailor, I'll shout Ahoy!

There's work to be done in my land-locked realm,
but as soon as it's done, I'll take the helm,
and carry on to achieve my life-long goal,
with the sea, my heart shall be whole.
