On my daily walk today with my Second Mate, Cooper the dog, we saw some absolutely amazing sights! I mean, we do pretty much every time, because I find nature to be so fascinating and beautiful, but I wanted to share these with the world!

I think this one is my favorite of the day. The reflection of the trees in the water, with the sun beams across the surface, and the little bits of foam almost look like stars. It’s giving awesome universe vibes!!

I really love the tree towards the middle.

The cause of this orange coloring is unfortunately most likely from Acid Mine Drainage from all the strip mines that used to be active in this area, or it could be clay underneath. Regardless, it still looks really pretty.

I used this one as the featured image for this post, it seemed perfect for that! It was a cool thing to encounter out in the middle of the forest.

An old chunk of brick with the town’s name on it. These bricks were made in the area a long time ago.

Really pretty mug I found out there, unfortunately there was only half of it.

This one didn’t have a message carved into it, but man those colors are marvelous!
